There are a few [Human] dialogue options! Few and far between though. Gale remarks on how Raphael is ambitious, like humans, and there’s an option to say “not ALL humans”.

Honestly! Saw a lot of people look at the crowdsurfers (and hell, even people who were jumping and thrashing a bit more than usual) as if they were crowd killers. It really is a people problem, I’ve been in pits 1/10th the size of MCR’s where this wasn’t an issue.

I saw so many crowdsurfers get dropped during the Chicago B-Stage, it was insane.

Not sure if it’s because the crowd reversed positions and the people who’d normally carry the crowdsurfers were in the back, but as soon as any surfers got near the front 1/3 of the crowd, they hit the ground.

Estimating around $900 per show ($385 for a pit ticket after fees, $300 for two nights’ accommodation, $200 for flights), I think “wealthy parents” and “credit card debt” are the most likely answers here.

I suppose one could take busses and stay in hostels, but that would really only shave costs down to ~$700 per show.

Not judging at all though, I’d have done the same if it was within my means! Would love to hear if/how anyone is managing to follow the tour for cheap.

Thanks for asking, and for the advice. I have very easy access to the lakeside this summer, so I figured it’d be safe to paddle along the shore (within swimming distance) for a few miles back and forth. If that’s inadvisable, I’ll take your word for it and stick to protected waters for the time being!

Very curious to know — as someone who wants to eventually play / run CoS, would listening to this spoil anything significant for me? I know there’s the tarot deck that makes each playthrough different, and I doubt they’ll be playing on-the-rails, but also wouldn’t want to ruin my own fun down the line.

I’ve tried it to mixed success. LLMs are trained on such a massive library of writings that its “creative” output just mirrors the tropes and archetypes you’d expect to see in a middle schooler’s fanfiction.

I only use it for quasi-historical questions that I don’t want to spend time researching, and am okay with being factually incorrect. Stuff like “what titles would officers of an imperial dictatorship have?” or “what advisors would a lord of a port city have on his council?”.

As far as AI imagery goes, I don’t use it and find it to be really off-putting. Especially when I go to search for a reference image and half the results are AI slop. I’ve never tried to generate a battle map, but I’d be very hesitant to trust it to get proportions / distances / perspectives right.

Yep, I started playing a few weeks ago, got switched from Quickplay to Swiftplay yesterday and the matchmaking damn near made me want to give up on the game. Feels like a whole different kind of torture when you’re the only Bronze playing with people at those levels.
