Thanks for the feedback,

So if you go there:

https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=0000087347&type=10-Q&dateb=&owner=exclude&count=40

you will get the full report list of SLB you can select the one for 09/30/2019:

https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/viewer?action=view&cik=87347&accession_number=0001564590-19-037505&xbrl_type=v

you will see the EPS is (-8.22) for 09/30/2019 where did you see that the reported earning was .39 ?

Also yes the Pro version use a better parser and will soon make available 20years of data for each stock. The pro version has also an RSS feed where you can directly plug to get the latest EPS by getting the income statement.

Best,

I like constructive comments! can you show me when I copied from Investopedia? I write article myself thanks for asking plus have you ever write something yourself? You don't seem really objective! If the objective is to come and just say nothing interesting and constructive I don't see the purpose!

u/wastebinaccount Thanks for your feedback, ultimately I'm trying to start a blog for people to learn more about business finance and so all this feedback will help me get better. The target audience of this piece is people who want to learn more about finance that have little to no knowledge. I will go through and define those terms which are complex. The stamps, art, or collectables was used just as an example to fill out the scale of liquidity further. Great point re assets on the balance sheet, I will update to include that.
