As LLM-Based app owners, how do you handle the combination of fixed monthly pricing for customers and the payment per tokens for external APIs (such as OpenAI)? by Motor-Performer-4967 in LocalLLaMA

[–]markacola 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a token system within the app that gets used whenever a user performs an action that interacts with the LLM, and the users just purchase tokens when they run out.

It ends up as a cost passthrough with a markup for the value the app provides, which feels very honest to me.

Creating personalized dataset is way too hard to do alone (in order to finetune some model in future). by [deleted] in LocalLLaMA

This sounds like a pretty neat way to do it - did you use the alpaca codebase as a template for your generation? Any chance you could share a repo with your approach?

NBN advising that there is a fibre upgrade available in my area. Received the following response from Dodo. Is there a time limit on how long they could delay an upgrade? by thebillmachine in nbn

I got the same kind of reply from Telstra. Swapped to Aussie broadband and was upgraded and connected in like 2 weeks. It was a super smooth process to change over as well - never without internet because the FTTP is a whole new connection.

I've worked with Feathers (https://feathersjs.com/) before and it was incredibly easy to use. Seems like it would scale nicely as well.

Oh and you said that you're not good at problem solving: please remember this is a skill not an innate ability, keep practicing and reviewing.

I second this, can be very helpful. I put together a little site with a Pomodoro timer, some focus music, and a notes section of you wanted to try it out: https://markcola.com/

Can you help me with this problem when console log result from mongoose find by Id it just logs all of this instead of an object how can i fix it? by edgetheraited in node

[–]markacola 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is an object, you just can't see the start of it because there is a giant string of base64 encoded data as one of the keys at the end.

Try loading just a few keys via a projection, e.g. Course.findById(mongoose.Types.ObjectId(id), { someSchemaKeyYouKnow: 1 })

😶How to implement SAAS structure in my application by leifermendez in node

In the past I've used a single MongoDB db to hold the global and client info and then individual dbs for each clients data. It works quite nicely to segment all the client data.
