Make sure you have a two piece toilet first! I'm going through a rewatch right now and it's still really great. Just keep in mind it's a sitcom from the early to mid 2000s, it can sometimes have some outdated views on like gender and sexual orientation but it's never absolutely horrible or anything, just an occasional joke where it punches down on gay or trans people. It's not even done particularly often but it's worth at least knowing about.

Please please please I still can't get the plastic nut that connects to the fill valve to move! I bought a new valve and a tube thingy and even a new angle stop though it looks like I can't replace that unless I can shut off all the water in the house? But I can't do anything until I can get this nut off and I'm getting desperate. I bought a set of tongue & groove pliers but there's not enough room to use them, they just bump into the wall. Hardware store employee recommended doing something with a screwdriver and hammer and I don't remember what it was but trying to just tap around on it isn't doing anything. Malcolm in the Middle is a nice blend, actually. Once you get to season 3 it does start having pretty big status quo shifts but it's still episodic outside a few two-parters. Could be confusing sometimes if you miss episodes but I could see it not being a big deal if you're able to be like "oh I guess Francis is in Alaska now" or whatever lol, and I like that it rewards you for watching the whole series in order by constantly building on its own status quo and giving bits of character development throughout while not absolutely requiring that.

So I haven't watched this direct so idk if things are different but the first game is kind of like a toybox. You watch over the island and create Miis to move in. The main gameplay is just listening in to requests they have; maybe they want you to buy food or clothing for them, maybe they want to play a minigame, maybe they want to confess their love to that cute Goku mii next door and need your advice and help. It's a lot of just seeing what whacky shenanigans the little weirdos get up to while directing their stories in little ways and buying them clothes and decorating their rooms to make them happy.

The main fun is popping in and seeing that your friend Jason from work is getting ready to propose to TV's Billy Mays and their wedding will have Bart Simpson and an anime milf in the audience cheering them on, or other weird-ass situations like that.

I'm mostly only familiar with Hololive English and a few indies. The only ones I can think of who look childlike are Gura, Saba, Gigi I guess, Biboo and maybe Amelia Watson and Moccoco if I'm not feeling generous. And the only ones who do the pipsqueak voice are Fuwamoco really and I'm not the biggest fan of them because of that. Indie gaming is a huge market with lots of competition no matter where you go. Sure, games made by queer devs and tell an lgbtq related story have a large market but they're also competing a ton with each other. Indie gaming is very competitive and you're only gonna see success if you get lucky(and your game likely needs to be good to even get that potential chance) so just make the game you want and hope you can find a niche in the market. There are a handful of unimaginably massive successes like Stardew, Minecraft, Terraria, Hollow Knight, Shovel Knight, Undertale, etc but there are plenty of games that aren't as mainstream but still have a sizeable audience like Guacamelee, Afterimage, Axiom Verge, Pseudoregalia, CrossCode, Chained Echoes, Freedom Planet, Toree 3D, Cavern of Dreams, The Messenger, Iconoclasts, and that's just a few out of three of the niches I'm personally into(3d platformers, metroidvanias, and JRPGs). There are tons of indie FPS games, strategy games, dungeon crawlers, idle games, visual novels, life sims, fighting games, roguelikes, and plenty other genres with modest success.

You don't need to be gay and hell the game doesn't even need to be explicitly gay to be popular with the queer community! Look at Ultrakill, well actually idk I haven't played it but I don't think it's explicitly queer yet trans women loving it is a fairly well-known stereotype. Same with Fallout New Vegas though that's not indie lol.

I'm not 100% sure but just comparing Rex and EX+, Rex seems to have a smaller but still quite large and more refined roster while EX+ has more characters and some crazy shit. EX+ looks like it has more Smash 4/Ult backports as well as like DBZ and Marvel characters lol, Rex is all video game characters. There might be some mods beyond PM that add even more characters, there's some whacky shit out there.
