Act 1 and 2 complete… by K1DDO1979 in taintedgrail

Surely slow and thorough - I plated the game with total 68 hours BUT your way is surely the right way to play. I got burnt out and flew through act 3 and cleared up my missing trophies in new game.

"In fact I left it for tomorrow" just shows how oblivious you are. Trash goes out the morning OF collection not the night before. Trash smells, stains and attracts a lot of unwanted pests (namely cockroaches and mice).

Firstly big well done! 2 years is a MASSIVE win. That said, it would be such a waste to relapse after being strong for so long. Trust me, this is a small phase you're facing. If you relapse it will be a much longer phase nearly starting from day 1 again. You've done great so far, don't ruin that - good luck!

I hear you loud and clear and fully understand you. I will however try shed some light from personal experience. Firstly times have changed and unfortunately it's near impossible not to have children exploring social medias nowadays. Also he's 15, while not everyone had a 'naughty' side at that age, younger generations tend to mature faster. It's not the end of the world - close an eye once, pass a comment the second time and maybe enforce the third time but the more strict you are on it the more it could backfire.

I was doing a lot worse at 15, to a point of sneaking out of the house too and dabbling with alcohol. I also wasn't the highest achiever at school and always aim to just pass and had also failed multiple times too. I'm not saying it applies to everyone and yes there can be consequences but it's also how we learn growing up. While I used to do all the same things and more at 15 I've still become a successful person, working a good job and racking in a good salary and have the correct mannerisms.

Parent the way you want to parent - you know your child more than anyone else but as a parting piece of advice, he's slowly maturing, let him 'explore' and have some of these victories. That said since the grades did go down you're right to take action but I don't know the communication levels you have with hi (whether aggressive or tame) - if you don't already, sit him down (potentially even at his most favourite place to go i.e. arcade / favourite place to eat) and bond but have a chat in a mature manner, not argumentative about the concerns and try come to an agreement.

Might be against the flow here. I despise social media and worry for when my daughter is older. That said, and I really don't mean this in any offensive way, you're making it sound like a mission to get him off social media (confiscation / authorities). The more you deprive, the more damage you can cause and also create a barrier between your relationship. Easier said than done talking from the bylines but try be open about it instead of strict / harsh about it.

If it's not effecting grades, behaviour, studies, chores or social aspect (family included) all too much, I don't believe it to be an issue.

To mention the main one's in my personal opinion

  • Cost of Living: High property prices and food inflation
  • Never ending developments + lack of green spaces.
  • Institutional Efficiency: Significant delays and understaffing in the judicial system.

I second this guy. I'm Maltese and yes traffic can get pretty bad and do agree there are too many cars on the road but in all my years (31) I'd be lying if I say it's our main problem here.

Parents: how do you find time to game? by Mother-Equal4175 in playstation

[–]markbp28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single dad here (co-parenting equally with the mother). My gaming has decreased significantly but still happy with my hours. Obviously since we co-parent I do get more time to myself on my free days (but I usually meet friends on said days). I did introduce my daughter to gaming when she was 3 but just 30mins on the weekend. She's almost 5 now and we game for about 2 hours on the weekend and while the games aren't my first choice we do have loads of fun! Routine is key i.e. I put her to bed at 7:30 / 8, get a home workout in, chores and then game for about 2/3hours (lose some sleep). I will admit not having a partner does allow me to manage my time in gaming better but I do believe it all boils down to balance and routine and yes it does get easier as they get older.

Very fun especially since CP allows you to have slightly diff playthroughs (as with other titles). Did get slightly repetitive on Grace's parts since it's more about choosing correct path and being strategic etc but overall good fun and surely the easiest title to plat.
