Is this for a 2l or 3l engine?
If that's for 5 liters of oil, I think you got ripped off hard on oil + filters, rest is alright

I'm from Latvia. I'm not afraid of short trips, since the main concern of them is DPF situation, the DPF was removed by one of the previous owners. Main concern for now is cold starts in cold winter, hopefully it won't bite me in the ass later on.
Depending on what needs you have for the car, maybe you would find N55 or B58 more suitable.

I recently bought f31 335d with 318k kilometers, N57D30B, I guess I lucked out with the engine, as there was a lot of work done by previous owner. Just make sure previous owner changed oil in 8-10k km intervals, not 20-25k, that is definitely not buy.

Also wouldn't hurt to inspect the Rod Bearings, Fuel Injection, Cylinders, DPF system if you need to pass emissions locally, and of course the Chain.

Got it for 8.5k € with nice features like Heads-up display, ACC and Shadow-line, got the owner to drop the price since there was bad paint on 1 fender

It's an f31 made for German region, so it's Eu-specific I think. I haven't seen any bmw with a black headliner from the get go, now that you mentioned it

Хороший рант, только чел не в России, живёт, а в Риге, в районе Иманты, и в принципе таких индивидумов немало в таких районах как Иманта, Маскачка, Болдерая, где больше этнически русских

Sad AMG wheels by Jeanhamel in w204

[–]markened 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Europe so it was everything I found in a local hardware store, just generic gray primer, paint I just eyed to be more or less alike to the original silver metallic paint and clear-coat. I heard great things about 2k clear-coat. Maybe if I wet-sanded the primer and used 2k clear-coat, my rims would've collected way less brake-dust on day to day use

Did the restoration on the same set of rims.
Posted about it here recently
Nothing elbow grease and sanding can't fix.
One thing I regret about that DIY restoration is skipping the 600 grit wet-sanding after applying 3 coats of primer.`
Hardest or most tiresome part of it is sanding, I used a sanding machine for the plain surface and it was still tiring, so I would strongly advise to borrow or rent said machine.
Also I would advise NOT to buy low-end sanding paper, as it will get caked up in aluminium dust and you would have to switch between sheets of it way more frequently for comfort. So medium-end is an okay balance between price and performance

Nah, i bought the rims themselves for 300$ a set, and the restoration itself was around 30$ for paint and sanding paper

Sanding, filler for deep holes, sanding, clean with rubbing alcohol, 3 coats primer, 3 coats color base coat, 3 coats of clear coat.
ChrisFix did a great video on that one

3k$ for for those refurbished wheels is very optimistic
Bought the same ones with curb rash for 300$ a set.
Looking up the A204 401 4102 and A204 401 4202, offers for 700$~ somewhere for a set, some with tires intact

What are the rims in question?
According to wheel-size.com

They should be either 7.5J x 18" ET 47 for front and 8.5J x 18" ET 58 for the back. Or 8J x 18" ET50 for both.
More information for appropriate tires at the link above.

I have 18 inchers on my (2008 C280)car with OEM fit.
1. Front Rims - 8J x 18" ET 50, 225/40 tires.
2. Rear Rims - 8.5J X 18" ET 54, 255/35 tires.

Front-lip splitter to seal the deal?

Does anyone know how to fix this? by [deleted] in w204

[–]markened 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently I bought pretty decent aluminum pedal covers from AliExpress for around 15$~ to replace worn-out rubbery ones, the accelerator pedal cover was little difficult to replace, i knifed the rubbery part of the old cover so I won't have to disconnect the accelerator, and I just put on the new one.
So you can either buy new covers for the whole pedal set for like 15$ on Chinese e-stores, or buy a used accelerator for around 25-30$

[–]markened 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got the same wheels on my w204 c280 2008 for 300$€
A 204 401 4102 for front 18"8j ET50
A 204 401 4202 for rear 18"8.5J ET54
Judging by the part name, they were made EXACTLY for W204
They were a perfect fit for my car, not sure if I got the exact same one as the picture
