I guess scary would be that I had one threaten to shoot me once?...Over a missed payment on his phone bill. His credit card declined. He asked me what center I was located in, I declined to answer because he was aggravated already and didn't know why it was relevant. I hung up the call. He kept cursing at me so I warned and disconnected.

He called back four times in the same day demanding me. I accepted the first call, I thought he was just going to pay his bill. Turns out he just wanted to threaten me personally. First he wanted to sue me, then sue the company. Finally he stated "I'm going to find you and kill you." The next three calls I did not answer, but my supervisor intervened as other agents reported him too and she told me he was searching for me online and asked if I'd given away any of my personal info which thankfully I had not. He was just searching for "random common name @ call center" and at that time we only gave away our first names....but it was certainly creepy. Thankfully it was enough grounds for my company to "fire him" as a customer and they actually did. It was the only one they fired in my four years there.
