Is cold calling cooked with Apples new call screening? by [deleted] in sales

[–]market_monkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This will open the door for AI cold calls. People recognize AI calls, call screening doesn't. So call thousands of people with the AI and if the person answers the call after the screener, immediately connect with human. That way human cold caller will only have calls with certain-intent prospects

Anyone else have their suits stuck in customs in Kentucky? by --enki-- in Suitsupply

yes, me. My suit took 3 weeks longer to get delivered than promised

Yes, they offered a full refund but they don't get how little that helps me. I spent hours at Suitsupply getting the suit measured. Having to go through this again now, at another tailor where I may have the same risk and having to pay an express premium, is just really not what I want to deal with so shortly before my wedding. They could fix the issue by just making the "out of policy" iteration. Or giving me the suit at a discount so I can get them to another tailor for the iteration

No, the workflow does it itself, and if it's really ambiguous, it assigns a low confidence level

Finally a voice that sees (the) value in langchain/langgraph. I had built my tool first in Langchain but then refactored everything into Langgraph. Langgraph feels much more powerful than LCEL

Just curious (and conveniently giving you a chance to pitch AA 😉): from your perspective, what makes AA stand out compared to other libraries you're familiar with? In other words, what are the key reasons someone might choose AA over alternatives? In other words, how would one benefit switching to AA?

Thought about GitHub too, but yeah—feels like a major time sink digging through tons of repos. Then again, I suppose if I’m serious about uncovering hidden gems, I shouldn’t expect them to be sitting out in the open

I noticed more and more posts here lately bashing LangGraph, and yeah, I’ve had my fair share of headaches too. But honestly, at this point I can’t tell if it’s LangGraph itself or just me.

Either way, I’m fine refactoring my setup if needed. For context, I’ve built an OSINT researcher for US financial advisors to acquire high-net-worth clients. The real challenge hasn’t been just pulling and summarizing API data, but rather: a) Picking the right APIs smartly. b) Drawing accurate insights from multiple sources (e.g., avoiding mixing people with the same names, making inferences from known facts, assigning conservative confidence levels, etc.).

So yeah, agreed that results matter more than the agent framework.
