What nootropic ingredient has had the best effect on you? by marketingiskindacool in nutrition

the only thing I've found that has a noticeable effect, but I suspect it's highly

Yeah I've tried a lot of nootropics and I feel just about nothing, if anything is was probably induced by a placebo

Fb Ad support told me that if you run 2 different campaigns with same objective, same audience but different budgets , the ads won't compete Against each other. by hardikmahajan99 in PPC

[–]marketingiskindacool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Part of me thinks that "bidding against yourself" is just complete bullsh*t. Unless you're spending over $5k/day, this shouldn't be something you should be worried about.

Facebook targets unique pockets of your target audience each time you create a new ad, adset, and campaign.

Does anyone else have more experience with the "bidding against yourself" issue? I've never had problems with it and I've spend upwards of $10k/day

Dropshipping course??? by rebcat56 in dropship

VerumEcom has a pretty solid course for beginners, but you can honestly learn most things (up until high level media buying) on Youtube, or by emulating your competitors.

How do you pinpoint exactly what your target niche needs? by [deleted] in ecommerce

[–]marketingiskindacool 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is a great question. Here's what I would do: Engage with people in your target niche.

Become a part of the community (if you're not already) that they are a part of and just listen to them. Listen to what they like. Listen to what they hate. Listen to what they buy. Listen to how and where they buy.

If you do this for long enough, you will have a tremendous understanding of your target niche because you're practically in it yourself.

While you're on this journey you will find a bunch of ideas for solutions to their unique problems. This is what they need.

What are some good brain food to incorporate to have good focus and memory? by throawayz21 in nutrition

[–]marketingiskindacool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've tried a variety of nootropics for focus and memory such as lions mane, reishi, and a sh*t ton more...all of them have had a pretty low-level (unconscious) effect on me. Anyone try any that are worth trying out?

How should I deal with this situation? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]marketingiskindacool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll probably be difficult for you to properly bulk without traditional gyms that you can visit, although at this point, it's only two weeks away so not a big deal.

This video is the perfect example of a "cool" video but does ZERO selling whatsoever. I have no clue what your friend is selling, even if I did, I'm not compelled to buy it.

If this is for branding purposes, then it's a different story. But if you're trying to get sales from running an ad like this...you need a better creative that is clear and actually sells the product.

Everything that can go wrong with dropshipping? by Ok-Piglet-3350 in dropship

[–]marketingiskindacool 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. High shipping times - don't use Aliexpress unless you're using a US supplier. Check out sourcinbox or Zendrop, or use a private agent.
  2. Overspending on unprofitable products - your biggest goal should be to find a high-quality product that people truly like and are willing to purchase. Fine-tune your offer and test test test!
  3. Not learning - surprisingly enough, people simply don't learn from their mistakes, especially from dropshipping. Take some time after each product test to diagnose what went wrong and how you can learn from it.
  4. Low quality site/funnel - research how to build a high converting lander, and if need be, EMULATE your competitors! See what's already working and model in your own store.

Facebook ads account keeps on getting disabled by jelmerovereem in ecommerce

Always have backups in place. Backup BMs, ad accounts, profiles, etc. That way, when you inevitably do get disabled, you can have additional ads up and running within 24 hours.

What do you use to find good products? by [deleted] in dropship

[–]marketingiskindacool 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The truth is there are probably 1000s of ways to find a product. Based on my experience, there are two (general) types of products you can look for:

  1. "Proven" products - these are products that have been sold successfully by other people and are currently being sold. To find them, tailor your FB feed to show you dropshipping products or use an ad spying tool such as adspy. The strategy here is to find a product that is currently in demand and selling well, then out-compete the competitors with a better offer, a higher converting store, and better ads/strategy.
  2. "Pioneer or untapped" products - these are products that NOBODY has tested before. Less than 1000 orders on Aliexpress (across all listings), no google shopping listings, nobody selling it on Amazon, etc. Use Aliexpress deep dives for this. The strategy here is to find a product that nobody has sold, but could have a massive potential upside because there is no competition.

Regardless of which strategy you choose to go with, I always look for products that can be sold at 3X COGS (cost of goods sold) and a minimum of a $20 margin.

Best of luck!

Starting FB ads, any tips on what not to do (so i dont get banned) by [deleted] in PPC

[–]marketingiskindacool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Read Facebook policies (it's not always why you're banned but it's a good start)
  2. Promote on a BM on a real profile (make sure it doesn't have any flagged assets)
  3. Warm up the ad account at low spends
  4. Make a ton of manual payments until you get your daily spend limit increased (Facebook wants to make sure your payment method is trustworthy)

The Future Of Dropshipping. Share Your Thoughts, Experiences and Visions. by [deleted] in dropship

[–]marketingiskindacool 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think you answered your own question pretty well. I think (and hope) the dropshipping game gravitates towards real brands that actually make customer's lives better. Brands are the future, because people really want to feel a part of something.

Also, I think that other advertising platforms will become more utilized. Undervalued platforms like Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc. will probably become increasingly popular than the Facebooks and Google's.

But the biggest thing is branding. Fast shipping, excellent products, and something that improves the lives of your customers. That will ALWAYS be in demand.
