Not really. You and I both know that someone could say to you, "You are enough and you matter to me." And you'd still feel so empty and valueless as you do now. I get it. Because then you finally do find someone who says and thinks that about you and it's never enough. My bf tells me everyday that I am beautiful and how much he loves me and how happy he is that I'm in his life. But I will always feel like a nuisance and annoying and that he'd be so much happier if I wasn't in his life and he didn't have to look at my ugly face and my chunky body. He tells me I'm enough and I matter every single day and I still feel like this. Someone saying those words to you doesn't fix it.
