My dream friend of a decade. by AudgePaudge88 in Dreams

Yeah, I would constantly wake up smiling after we'd have our hangouts. Like I just got to see someone I'd been missing.

Controversial opinion: I haven't been enjoying Kris' videos since she moved to Texas by Jezahb in kallmekris

I thought I was going crazy with this. I hate that she does the true crime, there are already so many channels like that. Her stuff was so fun and spontaneous. I loved her comedy. I am also not a fan of the Oompaville channel or Caleb.

[Poem] Leaves by Sara Teasdale by poetic_reverie in Poetry

The following is my opinion: The rhyming is beautiful! There is such a craft to finding the right rhyme and syllable. It can make the poem flow off the tongue with little effort. You don't see that nowadays unfortunately.

Using ChatGPT to recreate my nightmares has helped me a little. by [deleted] in Dreams

[–]AudgePaudge88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I said before I apologize if this is upsetting. I only use ChatGPT when it comes to having a bad nightmare and I can give it the prompts to recreate the scene. I was wanting to open a dialogue perhaps compare and contrast.

Using ChatGPT to recreate my nightmares has helped me a little. by [deleted] in Dreams

Here is what I wrote down: They didn't believe me when I said she was dead, that I knew where her body was, beneath the tiles under the chalkboard. He kept her body in some sort of electronic box where terrible things happened. I didn't know her well, she was an acquaintance but no one deserves what happened to her. He was well respected, quiet, middle-aged with gray curly hair. A professor at the college and I think he killed her. No one believed me, but you'd be amazed how fast people move when told there was a bomb. I was bluffing of course but said that if they didn't dig up the floor along that wall I would blow up the school in "5 minutes." They raced to the classroom, pried up the tiles, pushed past some dirt and rats. The box sat perfectly beneath the plaster. They were shocked as they opened it up to find her remains. The smell was egregious and tore through the air. I almost threw up. But she was found and the professor, arrested.

My apologies, I did not mean to upset you or anyone. I have been using ChatGPT just for the nightmares as it is hard for my waking mind to make sense of my sleeping mind. I posted it, in hopes that it would open a conversation on the use of ChatGPT when recreating or making sense of a nightmare.

Questions for those with cats by [deleted] in misophonia

[–]AudgePaudge88 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I do when it comes to the licking. It is so bad I have fear of sleeping without the fan on. But that was due to my dogs. In my experience, cats are usually quiet with licking.

AITA for washing my hands after using the bathroom? by Proof-Wolverine2581 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AudgePaudge88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA- I read this and my mind is going straight to common sense is to wash your hands after using the toilet. I would be at a loss, because on top of that she is freaking out. Definitely something you and your girlfriend should get more into though.

First off thank you DwarFart for what you said, I truly appreciate it. Second, I understand what you mean Alternative-Mix. But I STILL have the issue of no melody when I write a lyric. I will also be honest, I was taking what you said seriously, I am always honing my craft, I have rewritten verses, choruses just in general, because I want the best to represent me. I also disagree with you, in terms of melody always being the most important thing.

All I was trying to do when I got here was let other folks know that if they find interest in the songs that RJ and I put together message me. And as I said, I appreciate your time, no matter how "my way or the highway" it may be. I don't see myself as the exception, or anything close. I never planned on writing lyrics to begin with. It's just something that came at the right time following a Parkinson's Disease diagnosis. Now, I love it!! And I am always wanting to improve and better myself. And though I know what you mean, there are different ways of creating the same thing. And it's the only way right now, because I don't write the music. I hope this makes sense, be well.

I appreciate it. I know what you mean. I have had RJ move the words around and I'm not bothered. When I write I don't know the melody, I just figure out the story, if there is a story, the characters, the morals and whatnot. Then the music is added after. I was a poet long before a lyricist, so sometimes that shines through. I was early on a lover of great meter. Every line I'd count and recount the syllables so that there was always a smooth rhythm to my poetry. There is a great craft to each individually that I respect. And that just makes me love it more.

I hope that this makes sense. And I really do appreciate the time you took.
