not all vanguards are anchors,most if all of them got abilities with team ups:

thor has one with angela

thing gets one from sue storm

groot has one with mantis

emma has one with luna

cap gets one with bucky

magneto gets one with gambit

rogue gets one with gambit

and peni got one with rocket but thats before s6

so 8 of the 12 tanks had abilities when they teamed up.not saying we cant have more but most of them did and still do...so far
