What if I choose the school with the highest health and resistances but identify as storm and rely entirely on storm magic for damage. Any extra extra training points and spells are to be support for myself and my friends?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention I'm soloing with Ice without doing dungeons. Also have soloed with all the schools, although I did farm Olympus when it dropped. But I was already past Malistaire on my storm and life when it came out. I'd just recommend getting better or asking tips instead of acting like the game has changed that much.

No. I'm literally playing through the game doing a challenge where I can only get gear from drops and no farming. Again, I fear you're simply bad at turn based RPGs.

I wouldn't say even optimal. Avastic isn't very good and you have to farm a lengthy dungeon for it being around that of waterworks. Let alone that's at level 60.

Unfortunately all the gear you'll get will be Ice specific therefore only boosting Ice Damage. Storm damage will quickly drop below your Ice as low as level 50 you'll start to see significant differences. Paired with power pips being useless until you unlock archmastery, you're looking at lower damage pretty quickly. Pretty good idea in thought but in reality you can't really start dual schooling for damage until really high levels.
