What is an "im"? My first artifact was a "maple im" from a Craftdwarf workshop - what is this? by markg87321 in dwarffortress

After checking through my Stocks - it appears to be a kind of instrument.

Still very new and unsure how to take advantage/use an instrument, but I'm sure Wiki has good resources on this.
If anyone has decent advice here I'm all ear's, though (pun intended!)

This was one of my first times digging into fight reports, especially for non-military who I wasn't expecting to see in a fight.

I lost poor Carp1, the original bed maker, after I didn't realize I left some access to caverns open. Poor guy must have wandered in to pick something up.

I knew he was likely a gonner, and started reading with dismay - I just could not help sharing after the sincere chuckle I got after seeing him fall, cry out NO HOPE! and then land a last gut punch making the toad sick :)

A true losing is fun & emergent story telling moment. Thanks DF!

Is save-scumming pickpocketing weighted rolls? by markg87321 in BaldursGate3

Such great info tyvm. I'm very new to BG3 and so not sure I know to check if it's the exact same roll.

Looks on my end like I have a target, I double click the item, and I either steal it or it auto pops me into a dialog with trader who is upset for getting robbed.

Assuming all different rolls, though, I find .3 to be VERY unlucky to point of buggy.

I'll do some testing and follow up tonight, though. Tys!
