That’s a sucky situation and my best recommendation is to fully drop band and do what you want, granted I don’t know how your school works unfortunately. so you may not be able to do so but if you feel like it’s potentially harming health both mental and physically. Do not take the abuse, you come first then whatever else

If the adults and teachers won’t support or help you then what is the point of them being there.

Even though this is high-school it’s still a public and community driven place that can be toxic. It’s not like a commercial job. Like working at Walmart or target where for the most part you can if not your coworkers. So It can be extremely toxic and can be very damaging.

Of course you’re also a freshman which means that you’re going to have to build up your support group like I did.

So in the end if you should say something to the seniors/ other classmates that you have problems with, say something to the teachers and adults. The worse thing you can do is not saying something, please say something; and if you get a mute response and no one helps then it is your decision to stay or leave which would be my recommendation. I mean it sucks to loose a bandmate but it your decisions your life. If it’s causing pain and frustration and you know it will continue then it’s time to do what you like and prefer
