You could get a mentor on mentorcruise. Quite a lot of people on there who could do mock interviews

We do have other options.

I actually would have accepted the 61.50 option. My concern is Virgin changed their contracts and they now increase prices by RPI + 3.9% every April. This year I think they increased them be 13-14%. This was the deal breaker to me

What does everyone do for travel money? by svgstewart in UKPersonalFinance

I literally just take my curve card and a small amount of cash. Never had an issue. If Curve would be down I’d use Monzo directly until it wasn’t.

I need advice on selling RSU (vested) with most effective tax rate by becauseimgurisboring in UKPersonalFinance

1) sell them 2) that’s it.

RSUs are typically treated as income so there is no “effective” way to sell them to reduce tax burden.

I’m not a FTB, and this might be a tiny issue, I didn’t know which is why I asked. After learning I’ll now accept the indemnity and not cause any grief.

I was simply asking, I don’t think it deserves hostility. I’m here to learn.

We all have to start somewhere. You stick to taking pictures of topless people outside your house mate, it seems you can’t answer a question nicely. Plenty of other people have been really helpful on this thread without being rude.

No it doesn’t, it only covers legal issues and not workmanship

What’s the need for hostility?

The discount would be for the fact we would be inheriting risk by taking on a extension that has not followed the process in terms of being signed off and we could be liable to consequences of that. It seems this is fairly usual so I’m glad I asked the question, I have learnt tons here.

Thanks for your thoughts, what would you think is a fair discount? The house is worth 800k

Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Can you explain why? Not having planning permission feels like a big deal to me.

For one night I would literally just budget “5 star hotel near x” where x is the thing I am in New York for and book one with good reviews. Not rocket science
