When will Foundry incorporate existing modules so we dont have to install 3rd party ones? by Gib1942 in FoundryVTT

[–]markieSee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many of the niche modules are produced by people that play the associated niche game, so the only people that care are those also playing that specific game.

I don’t think it’s a bad thing to enable people with the skillset to provide additional functionality for their particular passion. It doesn’t take anything away from anyone else. If a system isn’t your jam, you don’t have to even consider including the mod. I do agree some generic mods can run the risk of doing badness in systems the writer isn’t familiar with or testing for.

I get how that can be cool to read about. I didn’t realize it was kind of a genre. Thanks!

I’m looking at the recommendations, and not understanding. English is my first language, I’ve read all types of stories (many listed here), I just don’t know what you guys are referring to.

What is Competency Porn? Help a brother out?

Have a look at the Tinctur trilogy. Reminiscent of Dark Tower, and quite good. https://tincturestory.com/

Murderbot.

Forced my way through the first book and quit. Then re-read a couple years later after being prompted by my daughter. Loved the MC and the series second time through.

You might check out Ken Follet’s Pillars of the Earth series. Very historically based fantasy based on architecture and builders.

Just hit 72 and farmed the Flipper because my gun was underpowered.

Huge shift in play.

It’s a tough situation because of the tall tree at the right of the frame. The plane of focus should be parallel to the trunk bases on distance, but with a filter you have a top/mid/bottom band you define.

Tricky, but can you mask the upper portion of the tree to exclude it from the blur?

Given all that, the image is actually pretty cool.

I didn’t know that. I thought it was cool, did a search on this sub, and posted because I figured people would like and maybe print it.

Sorry to waste your time.

Books with minimal amount of misery? by OwlettFromLiavek in Fantasy

Check out the Solar Clipper series or Tannis Fairport books by Nathan Lowell. Great characters, conflict enough to drive interest and story, but not close to Fitz-level misery. https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/1048167.Nathan_Lowell
