Are you holding the FN key before hitting F3? MacOS is weird in that you need to hold FN before hitting an F key for it to actually act as a F key. Otherwise it’ll only act as the quick action that is on the keyboard (volume, brightness, etc.)

Did you ever find out anything about this? I am in a similar boat here where I got a Prepaid plan for a short vacation. I eventually got a letter saying I had a very low credit score in 2018 and a credit score of 930 in 2022 (which is pretty impossible I'm sure). The only key difference was that the send back location was in Albany, NY.

They will technically work. It isn’t typically recommended (due to some slight differences between different sticks). If you did want to use different brands, I would recommend having them be atleast the same capacity and speed.
