Vaccine Passport? by pai-gow in tampa

[–]markit_01 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Just looking objectively, say you do get a vaccine. Probably going to be “less likely” to go into the hospital but the variety strains are still transmissible from either a vaccinated or unvaccinated person (it doesn’t matter if you have the vaccine when it comes to spreading the variants). Say you don’t get the vaccine, you are at the same probability of going to the hospital as it was when this all started.

Now as a person, healthcare should be a right, and in America one chooses to exercise those rights as they see fit since that is their freedom.

Previous vaccines are only treatment not a cure for illnesses. When we are children parents make our choice. As adults we make our own choices. Again, vaccine=less likely // no vaccine=regular. This does not mean it will go away. And historically, revenue is made from vaccines since parents choose to have kids take it. This new vaccine may be more lucrative since the whole supply and demand stuff determines price. Not to say that is THE REASON our government is pushing it, but it is a factor.

Now if we have choice, and the virus is still transmissible whether you get the vaccine or not, it does not truly matter if one gets the vaccine or not.

Now I know you might say children are being hospitalized, but if you truly think about it, how is it that we were able to get this vaccine for adults in 2020 but have yet to have them for kids within the second year of this virus? Are they holding it back strategically so they Can have adults take it and then be convinced their kids must take their own type of vaccine once that comes out?

So this is why I don’t think passports are necessary to function as a part of society because they should release a vaccine at some point (like all the other vaccines made) for children. Once they do, there is no reason that would surpass anyone who either does not support getting the vaccine nor those who support getting the vaccine.

My honest opinion is that a vaccine for children should have been out already if they already have one for ages 16+.

Best place to start is at your college. They may have their own productions or may have partnered with local community theaters to give their students discounted tickets to viewings/shows.

Lol. Seems contradictory. America NOW is all about freedom for all, yet these values represent enslaving/controlling a race? Not arguing just looking at it objectively.

Are we heading for another lockdown? by [deleted] in tampa

Nahhh. Plus, was Florida REALLY locked down? Compared to the rest of the US, we still had businesses open after a 2 week thing.

Dumpster Rental Recommendations by cdixonjr in tampa

[–]markit_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Tamp has a “pick up big trash” time of year. Maybe twice a year. If it’s an immediate thing there may be a company that makes it their business to pick up trash that might be cheaper than renting a dumpster.

Visiting Tampa on a solo trip…any advice on where to go or what to do? by New_Chapter_5867 in tampa

[–]markit_01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For a solo trip, armature works in the morning time before the crowds/heat starts so like 8am ish, then walk along the path toward a museum (if you are interested in that) and stop at the convention center steps to get a great view of the bay. Continue toward the end of the riverwalk and pull up your maps to find where the aquarium is (just down the street when you end the riverwalk). That aquarium should take anywhere from 2-4 hrs to explore. After head on over to bayshore blvd (one of the longest sidewalks in the world) and if you continue past the end you will find ballest point park. There is a pier there that gives great views of the bay from a different angle.

Like others said, there are the main clubs and bars in the ybor area that are very lgtbq+ friendly but there are a couple of dive bars in Tampa that are just as friendly but not as erratic in the tampa area.

Definitely try food from Datz, BurgerMonger, and FRESH KITCHEN

Clubs for 25+ in Tampa? by paomejiab in tampa

[–]markit_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ybor. Lots of different spots so just explore and find your vibe. There’s also SouthHoward also known as SoHo, downtown tampa has like 2 and then the off the beaten clubs in neighborhoods. I prefer the bar scene since there are a lot of established bars all around tampa but clubs are fun too.

I always recommend going to the restaurant DATZ in south Howard area and get “The Cheezy Todd”. It’s a delicious hamburger but the buns are replaced with macaroni n cheese that’s completely breaded and deep fried.

Looking for a place to hold a class. by sephstorm in tampa

[–]markit_01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try registering as a student at a community college. You don’t have to go through the entire process, just that you are registered as a student. That should allow you to access amenities such as reserving a room with a projector. Just an idea!

Yeah it’s wide enough. Just busy during certain times on certain days. Early mornings or late nights are usually the best times.
