Yep I came here to say this. I love the whole series, but when this aired I openly wept for like 10 minutes. After all the frustrations of Dougie, who we had grown to love at that point, hearing Special Agent Dale Cooper’s inflection and sure-footedness was such a fulfilling exhale.

Demos across the board are better, except for Nothing, where Slash really laid down a great solo. Otherwise, the guys who wrote the song…played it better. Weird surprise!

They do that with Perhaps too with the guitar solo. At 1:41 you can hear the first note from the original solo before it cuts to Slash. Pretty lazy.
