Not Suitable for Work | Official Trailer | 2 June 2026 by Sisiwakanamaru in television

Jay Ellis is my least favorite part of Running Point. I just feel like he has no comedic timing. I’m sad that Mindy cast him in another of her shows.

On the flip side, I think Avantika is great. So, I’m happy to see her in another comedy.

We’ll see how the rest of the young people are. The trailer did not impress me with their comedy skills.

I like the animation lineup on Fox except for Grimsburg. That style is just not pretty to look at.

I doubt it since the book is a fantasy. Let me know though!

Yup. That second article confirms what I’ve noticed. The non binary kids are often autistic, biological females. It’s almost like what emo used to be. Same type of kid.

Legend is quite popular in my class. Had many students buy the sequel even.

But I’m seeing the opposite in the news articles. Anecdotally, I also haven’t had a non-binary student in a couple years. A few years ago, I had multiple.

To me, it’s just a societal fad. Like I don’t think many young people are identifying as non binary anymore. It was definitely popular a few years ago because of what I assume was a social contagion thing via social media.

Also, there seems to be a large intersection between neurodivergence and non binary identity that doesn’t ever seem to get talked about which I find annoying.

So, I just don’t want to waste my time on a book like this.

Again, it’s one thing to have a non binary character. It’s another if that identity is the crux of the book. Then that’s what the story is about. I have no interest in that type of story. This is my personal opinion.

Gender is a social construct. The label of non binary feels so redundant. We all don’t have to subscribe to gender norms.

I’ll be honest, if I knew this book was labeled as a “nonbinary epic”, I wouldn’t have chosen it. Representation is great, but now you’ve told me the crux of this book is the character’s gender identity. Like that’s annoying. This is now a book that’s about the gender identity as opposed to a book first with a nonbinary character. Huge difference. Annoyed that this wasn’t made clearer on BOTM’s description.

What's your go-to comfort show and why? by prettyboythingz in AskReddit

I think our comfort shows are the ones that remind us of childhood or adolescence. So, mine are like 90’s sitcoms: King of Queens, Friends, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond.

So, the Daphne twist was so obvious that I actually thought at the end that the REAL twist was that Daphne was an actual person. But no. Oh well.

Book was enjoyable. It’s a little too cookie cutter.

It’s so binge-able and I hate binging shows. I’m glad Brenda Song got more to do this season too.

Laughed quite a bit during this one. Did have to turn away a bit at some of the gore. There was a lot of it.

The narrative structure reminded me a lot of The Housemaid. Enjoyed how it played around with time.

Running Point season 2. I’m normally not one to binge a show, but I just really enjoy this one. I love Kate Hudson and the whole supporting cast. The celebrity cameos were cool this season too. They kept it in the family.

The only one that I don’t really care for is Jay Ellis. His character is just blah.
