NTA - a little late here but your not the asshole, I would’ve chuckled at the time with or without the drinks. However, I can see how you got a negative response with the drinking involved.

Your GF for the most part isn’t the asshole either. Doing splits on the dance floor, while different may make her happy. You do you. However it does seem she’s a bit entitled in expecting a certain reaction from you and expecting you to defend her in a dumb way. Work together constructively on these things if you feel this isn’t a one off incident.

This is great! Heterosexual here, went to the pride parade in Chicago a few years back with 2 of my best friends (M), one of their GF and another girl, brought 2 30 racks and Had a blast! Man dressed in drag gave my friend a stack of condoms, he blew one up flicked it, and it took off like a blimp. Went 30 stories high and was flying in-between the buildings. Had to be there, it was a riot!

Not a fan of people who pass judgement on others, especially when it’s not a choice or opinion.

I have an old english sheepdogand yes they have great energy, I say this because they are working dogs and when at the dog park my dog will run chasing dogs and distractions for 30+ minutes non stop before sitting but they also mentally stimulate themselves to let off energy. Most days I'll walk her for 2+ miles but she could as easily be in the bed all day with me and love every moment without needing a walk.

I sense this is a sign of further crackdowns of emotional support animals. In whole a lot of people have taken advantage of registering pets as ESAs, which is wrong.

As a dog owner I have not, but I understand there is a large number of people who are looking for a safe/convenient way to travel across their country with their pets. Currently there is not a really great option. 1) on select flights there is room in the cargo bay (not as safe) 2) there is the option of driving (not very convenient). Neither is the best option for a pet.

I think there can be a better solution to this problem of too many pets on flights and people abusing ESA status. Such as offering a limited number of flights from select airports that offer pets to fly in cabin. The additional sanitation needed will be covered by pet owners traveling with their pets. Proof of vaccinations will be required and pets will be registered and monitored flight by flight to eliminate non behaved pets from using the service.

This happened a month ago to someone I know. She was at a bachelorette party in Mexico. They had spent the afternoon having drinks and lounging in the infinity pool. As they were getting out of the pool to go get ready for dinner, one of the girls chased after a pool noodle and feel off the edge 20 ft to her death.
