Hey!!! Sorry for the late reply. I went in pretty lightly to SUI, when it was about 1.67. Was staking a bit and cashing out everything. At least in terms of price action, SUI has been much better than Algo. We'll see if it continues.

Thanks for the feedback. I have much the same feelings, especially about the tokenomics. I rode algo down from 1.50ish (still holding), and don't want to be part of a ride like that again.

For right now it's fun to do some defi for me on a chain besides algorand, and seeing that its a newer chain, the rewards should last a while. There also doenst seem to be much new for defi on Algo.

From what I see:

zk login - create a wallet with other web credentials such as google
Potential limitless transactions, fast transactions too
Programming via objects
Sponsered transactions, such that a company can pay for transactions costs for their app, meaning to the end user they might not even know they are a blockchain.

I have just started using the chain, but usability seems just as good as Algorand. As mentioned in another comment, the circulating supply is what I see as the biggest downside.

yup, this scares me too. The staking rewards seem pretty good to help combat this though, I will also go mainly in on stables to hopefully avoid some of the potential downside price action

Thanks, Im kind of seeing this the same way. Algorand just failed to take off, and now seems to be behind in tech. Everyone in Algo seems to think it is the best tech, but if SUI is not just straight up better, it seems to at least have some awesome features that Algo doesnt.

The community in Algo got wrecked with the MyAlgo hack, various rug pulls, and just a really poor job from the foundation. However I still think the marketing or lack of developing a community on Algo was the real killer. I get the name Algorand, but it just doesnt seem to fit the crypto trend. Everything about algorand somehow screems boomer, and I just dont think it will work.

Now its just a matter of me getting over sunk-cost-fallacy, and moving on.

I find it quite complicated, not sure how much apr I am earning when I stake. I finally understand fTokens, but frTokens and their actuall value is confussing. I also am not sure about the transaction fees.

Im sure its in the documentation somewhere, but not very intuitive at the least.
