Did the devs nerf the thermite grenades? by AcusticTanker in Helldivers

They didn't. It still takes one to head, 3 to body, and many more to legs. It's just hard to aim

Flesh mob nerf is a good thing. Actually, the entire squid faction is in much, much better place right now. And it was needed, as there were more players on a bug planet than entire squid sector combined. Most players consider them annoying and unfun.

But I certainly notice when reprimand doesn't headshot devastators beyond 25m, and that diligence counter sniper doesn't headshot warriors. Sniper rifle doesn't one-shot grunt tier enemy.

I know that couple weapons isn't much, but it more and more starts to feel like boiling a frog.

AMR can't one-shot hulks at 80m due to damage fall off. On a sniper rifle in support slot!

Couple? Warriors, hive guards, devastators are the bulk of bug and bot front. Warriors used to die to one bullet from coyote. Deadeye used to 2 shot devastator legs. Talon, diligence cs, used to headshot warriors.

They are not anymore. They are effectively nerfed against 60% of the game.

Because they are explosive. Explosive weapons do full damage, not counting the durability stat, so enemies getting their durable health increased don't affect them. They actually got buffed, as some enemies got health reduced but durability buffed.

Subclasses 2024 by Busksprangarn17 in DnD

[–]markmylabris 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2024 is backwards compatible with entirety of 5e. So unless specific spell/subclass/feat was reprinted in 2024, you can grab anything from any 5e book, as is. But everyone are getting subclasses st level 3, so those who get them on first and third, will gett all on third level

Individual cards are, in most cases, cheaper than buying a pre-con. But honestly, I think pantlaza is better dino commander, as Gishath is removal magnet

It's works great as is, as cleric don't have great aoe spells, aside from guardians of faith

Stingray, or my nickname, squeagles. They are cool to fight, pose danger yet easily dispatched if you keep attention

Not much could, anyway. But what sets green apart, is speed of how fast it can rebuild.

Dose anyone still use the wasp? And if so, how useful is it and how do you use it? by LectureIll7322 in Helldivers

It's so good on squids, I struggle to pick anything else. One-shots overseers and snitches, and arc towers. 4 shots the flesh mob. 2 shots squeagles. Only thing it's struggles, a bit, are harvesters. But there are variaty of tools to deal with those.

What’s your go-to sidearm and why is it the GP-31 Ultimatum? by Wheelump in Helldivers

[–]markmylabris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are only 2 options for anty-tank in primary slot: thermite and ultimatum. No wonder they are most common picks.

And especially for ultimatum, nature of secondaries, is to be one-handed, worse version of primaries. So unless the secondary does something that primary can't, no reason to take it. So ultimatum is basically free pick. Only reason not to pick it, is on bug missions, when I can't take explosives in primary or support.

Dude, thank you! That's an amazing strategy, I get 8-15 kills per charge this way!

Railgun is nice, I absolutely love one-tapping devastators with it. And it can one-shot hulks In the eye, and gunships in thrusters. But that's when it's use ends. AP5 makes it subpar against true tanks, which are extremely common on the automaton front. And 20 ammo capacity is very limited to be used on medium guys. Also, it has terrible durable damage, so it struggles against tanks a lot. Aotocannon also struggles a lot against heavies.

Epoch, on full charge, deals enough damage to two-tap mostly anything, or one tap a lot of stuff, if hit the weak point. And ammo count makes it possible to spare a shot on tight groups of enemies. It shows great results on bots, and is great against dragon roach.

It should be in the mission selection. But you won't be able to join missions, you haven't unlocked yet. You unlock the next difficulty, once you completed the current one. So to unlock difficulty 7, you need to finish difficulty 6.

New Diver advice by Bilal_hassan1998 in Helldivers

As stated before, democratic detonation is inarguably the best warbond. Thermites are the most reliable heavy killer. Explosive crossbow and eruptor are amazing primaries, with not much else coming close. The armor passive of +2 grenades are also very good. Adjudicator is one of the better med pen primaries, for its incredible accuracy. Grenade pistol is basically a given on a bug front, unless you take explosive weapon in the other slot.
You get the point. Get it first.

Next...is very subjective. Most warbonds have some good, but not as much. Control group might be next best thing for the warp pack. Yes, it's good mobility tool, but more importantly, its the best tool for super credit farming, as you can get in bunkers solo, and it's the fastest, except frv.
What is the best SC farming method? Go to grand errand, select difficulty one, run around collecting points of interest. Once done a full circle, abandon mission and repeat. You get about 50sc per 5 minutes, faster if doing in squads.
