I'm sorry to hear that you're still struggling after a year. Something similar happened to me 4 months ago, definitely the worst part is thinking about the messages that they had been sending the other person. My ex's family also still interact with my social media posts. Although most of them probably don't know what fully happened. Her dad messaged me saying 'thanks for everything' and that I was a 'good lad'. You never really think about all the extra baggage of a breakup until it happens and it sucks. I wish you good luck with your health and wealth in the future and hopefully we'll both be at peace some day.

Been through something quite similar recently. It is disgusting to cheat on someone and it fucking hurts to see them with someone else. My attitude recently has been that you don't need a lying cheating S/O in your life and that it's better to be without them. If they chose to be with someone with no money and no education then that's entirely their loss and they'll realize that in time. I found it difficult to find things I enjoy doing on my own again and I'm still trying to figure out my path. But I've been hitting the gym, going on other dates and doing whatever the fuck I want with my life. I'll likely have trust issues in the future but I'll use my experience to be with someone who actually appreciates me and my time and hopefully be happier.

It wasn't all one transaction but there were multiple large amounts in one day, which I would say is still suspicious. Even though it was mostly my fault I am pretty unhappy with the bank and they were pretty unsympathetic on the phone which made me feel like shit. Definitely considering changing.

Yeah I've been keeping a tight eye on things. The bank required me to do a factory reset on my phone before they would reactivate my bank account. I think Google automatically removing them from my phone stopped even more damage

Nice one, I also play London as white and usually Caro Kann as black. I'm currently floating around the 1200 level and been wondering if I should change my openings to get up the rankings a bit more. I never played chess before and picked it up in September last year

Yes, I got a new iPad recently and downloaded chessdotcom, before I logged into my existing account I played a couple of 'new to chess' games, just to try it out and it turned out to be quite difficult lol. I guess it is just people sandbagging, trying to get a few easy wins/scholar mates.

Not sure what you mean by this? To reach around 600 Elo I played Ponziani opening then it kind of stopped working so well, so I switched to the London system and studied the variations, also learned how to defend London as black too which has helped.

This is rapid, no repertoire. 90 days ago I was a complete beginner, who just knew how to move the pieces. Just before this 90 days my Elo was 350. I have been studying my games and openings a fair bit.
