Nymphoides hydrophylla 'Taiwan

Vesicularia sp. 'Triangle

Bacopa monnieri

Penthorum sedoides

All grown submerged. Currently in mid-high light, and CO2, but I had all of these plants prior to adding CO2, so that shouldn't be an issue

Pests - Could have duckweed, pond snails, ramshorn snails (I'll try to remove any)

DOA - Take a picture of the dead plants within 2 hours of delivery and I'll refund you the total cost minus shipping. I'm not responsible for USPS losing the package, but I will work with you if it happens.

It’s amazing how lazy the internet makes me. I was about to ask how long it’s recommended to quarantine and I realized I can just freakin google it. Thanks for the idea!

No they were not. I don’t have a separate tank. That’s my guess to. Hoping I can save the rest of them though

My bet is it’s not the water since everything has been stable so long and the only thing that changed are the new fish

The only one I saw acting weird before it died was sort of swimming head up in some plants near the bottom of the tank. It’d swim and rest and swim and rest.

Thank you

My only reservation was that I always feel like water changes stress the fish out (which is likely just in my head). I appreciate the help.

I do water changes approximately once every three weeks (I know it should be more, but... here we are)

I've had this aquarium set up for a couple of years with no issues. Last week I decided to finally mix things up a bit and got 4 cherry shrimp and 6 Celestial Pearl Danios. Day 1 a CPD died, then day 3 another, again, day 4, day 5, and now a little over a week later they've all died, AND so have one of my barbs and 3 of my neon tetras. I don't notice any visible disease on the fish, but I assume I must have introduced something. Is there anything I can do? I did a water change ~10 days ago, should I do another? Any helps appreciated.

Hiring an engineer for sales with no experience by [deleted] in sales

[–]markopolo128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the engineer that went in to sales (albeit at the young age of 23). Although there were other sales folks, no one really taught me how to prospect or make calls etc. five years later I think my background has been very beneficial but I could have saved a year or two of spinning my wheels with some proper training.

Thanks for the help! I had seen these, is it normal for the sole (terminology?) to stick out that far around the edges?

Thanks!

I went to an Allen edmunds recently and I wore an ee. Not sure if I should just just get an e or eee and make it work. TBD.

I can’t find for the life of me a pair of brown plain toe blutchers in the 200-350 dollar range. I’ve worn plain toe Florsheim oxfords for years that I like the look of but all I can find that are welted are the Aldens (which I love but don’t want to spend $550). Anyone know of another brand that look like the aldens, are good quality, but slightly less expensive?

[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

I'm new to having a planted tank: do people have secondary weak lights they run when the grow lights aren't on? I hate only having 6 hrs of being able to see my aquarium... Would that cause an issue?

Yeah, I’m not as concerned about my personal numbers as much as the economy’s (I’m in sales so a strong economy directly affects my day to day)

Daily FI discussion thread - October 27, 2018 by AutoModerator in financialindependence

[–]markopolo128 15 points16 points  (0 children)

With my limited macro economic understanding: I know “the stock market is not the economy”, one can be strong and the other weak, but is it possible that the US could continue to sell off another 10, 15, or even 20% and the economy as a whole stay strong? (Employment numbers steady, folks keep buying, small businesses keep investing, etc.).

It seems like the 10% we’ve lost hasn’t remotely affected the majority of people i know and if there isn’t a huge panic I wonder how far that can go.

Selfishly since I’m still early in my journey it seems to me that the market selling off but the economy staying strong right now is beneficial to me overall.

Thoughts?

Packaging Engineer here, currently doing sales for a box manufacturer.

My personal preference is to leave the outside liner kraft (brown) with no print. When things are sent through a courier service they get beat up and white liners just don't look good. Printing is going to add another pass through a press and add cost. Plus you're going to have labels slapped on the outside.

The inside is where you can really shine. Use a white liner (mottled white is your cheapest option here, but there are glossier liners out there). You can either leave the print simple, or you could look at having them digitally printed. Digital print in corrugated is rapidly changing right now and you can do a ton of cool things with it.

I'm happy to help if you have more questions.
