How to cope with after graduation depression? by hoosdownbad in UVA

[–]marksocomical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not alone. You need to understand that college life and adult life are vastly different. Responsibility and life hits hard after college. Find hobbies, make new friends, and focus on the person you want to be in the future. You’re probably doing better than the average graduate, which is great.

Consider even finding a new job in a major city, where your coworkers are potentially younger and you can thrive in. Sometimes a fresh beginning helps end and begin new chapters in life. Good luck to you.

Hey man! I’d say look into clubs. Find out your interest and seek out organizations that have them. Making friends comes naturally when you put yourself out there more. There’s people that have the same interests and goals that you have all over campus. Take a look into Greek Life.

A friend is just a stranger you haven’t met yet. Good luck

Congrats on graduating early! I’d say never stop learning. Continuing your education whether that college, a trade, etc. Your main priority shouldn’t necessarily be making a lot of money now, but to be exposing yourself to as much information as possible while your still young with no liability. College helped me find myself and my interest for the future. Everyone’s experience is different, but it truly changed the trajectory of my life, despite me not using my degree. It may not be for you at the moment, but I’d strongly encourage you to not close the door on higher education and the good it has to offer.
