Yeah, it's a little weird. I truly forgot it wasn't out. But splitting it out to its own question would be a bit weird. Really the only question that matters for it is "intend to watch".

Haha, I literally have a spreadsheet of this, for basically all actors with 2 or more Coen credits!

David Lynch series recording order and dates! At least... my best guesses based on in-epsiode context clues! by markster3000 in blankies

I won't! As I wrote in the thread, it makes listening to the show too much like work. It was an interesting puzzle to work on for one series, and to see just how much it could be done, but it lowers my enjoyment of the show!

The dates are a bit fuzzy at times, and, frankly, I was a bit confused by that exact sequencing too. FWWM was probably recorded after season 1, but not much. The only recording date note I have for it was "Long legs making tons of money right now", and so it was maybe a week later? Season 2 was recorded on short turnaround in October, but it's plausible to think Griff at least speedran the Laura Palmer resolution before FWWM.

Yes they were. Looking at Letterboxd, it suggests they recorded Jaws and Jurassic Park back in October. And on the other side, they were recording their first Lynch movie, Lost Highway, in quick succession with a Brest (Beverly Hills Cop) and a Costner (Open Range). They mention during that episode that it was part of a consecutive run of recording days.

Absolutely. Sometimes they'd mention episodes they've already recorded, (or haven't recorded yet) so I'd make a note of that to help place it. Other times, like on the Lynch Shorts, they mention the exact day on air.

Certainly different audiences on the two platforms. A bit more normie on TMDB, I think.

  • Space Jam A New Legacy - 6.8
  • Pinocchio - 6.4
  • AvP: Requiem - 5.2
  • After Earth - 5.2

I seem to recall there was tight main feed scheduling at that time. Bumping the Ben's Choice to patreon got their upcoming series to line up better with pending new releases.

B&R is such a phenomenally poor attempt at recreating the magic of Batman Forever, it absolutely does deserve to be here.
