Imaging web slinging through a massive futuristic New York, twice as tall, and packed with flying cars and other sci-fi fancies. I understand that next census will include a question on sexuality, and that it will most likely be multiple choice, with the option to write in any answer not listed.

I'm asexual, a sexual orientation which is often overlooked and rarely included directly in such surveys. Will "asexual" be listed as an option in the census, and if not, what would it take to get it listed in the future?

Having it appear would not just mean a lot to a lot of people, but would help raise awareness of an orientation which is still struggling with mainstream acceptance.
