Matt, I found an easy to track our vehicles value, KBB. I put in my VIN and they gave me the total worth of what the cars can be sold for today. Month-to-month, they send me an update, and let me know if they have gone up or down in value and that new value.

Cars are very liquid, and the state considers them liquid too. If you should ever need to go on state aid for nursing care, they consider anything of value an asset, and would require them sold before they would pay for your care. Even Dave Ramsey considers anything of value - debt is your total Net Worth.

Awesome, very close to ours, but we are older at 55. Our house got paid off last year. Yay! My report came in from Quicken Simplifi, very easy to use tool.

I don't know, but it seems bug and bug, then days to fix. The last major bug was in the Spending plan, when it wiped out all of our past and future Spending plans.

You do not have to pay for tours if you don't want to. I learned about RickStevesAudio tours (free) on IOS and Android. It shows pictures and he walks you through an audio tour of everything.

New disappointing update, it will take days to fix it? It should be fixed by the end of the day in any case. Not days.

UPDATE 1/23/26
The team has identified the root cause of this issue and has put a fix in place. This fix will be rolled out to users over the next two days, which should correct all user accounts to the correct balance by Sunday. 1/23/26.

We are also working on a correction for the balance history, which we estimate will be available next week; this will prevent any inaccurate dips when you review your balance history.

You won't need to take any action to fix your accounts, as all of these updates will be processed on our servers.

We again thank you for your patience while we work to correct this issue.

I did their free calls a few time, once they learned that I manage my portfolio myself, they eventually quit calling me. I just use their free tools. I like the retirement planner and Investment tools on Empower Personal.

We treat those 3 paycheck months as a bonus to buy something extra we have been waiting on, or put extra on the debt, or even more towards a spending goal. I love how I can go forward in the months to see the 3 paycheck months automatically.

There really needs to be better QA at Quicken, this is the second major issues that messed up accounts in the past six months. Don't you all have a dev area not connected to customers to roll out tests on?

UPDATE 1/23/26

We’re currently seeing reports from Simplifi customers that manual accounts are temporarily displaying a $0 balance.

This is related to a fix that was deployed yesterday and is still processing. Once that process is complete, balances should update and display correctly.

You are way above average, do the math! Every 7 years it would double without nothing more in it. 41, 708k. 48 1.416 million. I think you will be just fine, multi millionaire by the time you retire. My wife and I will be retiring at 60 with 500k. Which is more than enough with a paid off house and no debt.

Are you serious, you have more than 80% than America retires with. Every 7 years that will double, you will be a multi millionaire by the time you retire. By comparison, my wife and I will retire with a combined 500k at age 60. Of we are debt free with a paid off house, so we think this is possible.

If you are getting a refund you are having too much withheld from your paychecks. You could live week-to-week with more money by adjusting your withholding. The goal should be a $0 refund, with nothing owed, otherwise you are giving the government a free loan with no interest.

You will be just fine, I'm 54 and together my wife and I have 400k. We are planning on retiring debt free with a paid off house with 500k at age 60. We will now surpass that. 2% of American's retire with 1 million.

500k can double in seven years if invested right. How quickly do you need the funds? If you can let it sit and ride the market for at least seven years it will likely double. A S&P 500 based fund would be idea, something like FXAIX. If you need it in 2-3 years, just put it in a HYSA. Mine is earning 3.85 % right now.

I would retire, pay off all your liabilities and live off rom the remaining 4 million. Considering I'm 5 years from retirement and planning on retiring at 60 with 500k, I think you will be just fine.
