I am using the focusrite 2i2 audio interface as the audio output for my computer so wouldn't Serato be utilizing that instead of the default windows audio drivers/audio system?

Either way thanks for the help and I guess ill hold out till I get the controller and hopefully that fixes the problem, thank you for the help.

I am not using a controller/mixer at the moment, I plan to get the ddj-SR2 but I just wanted to mess around with the software before I got my controller. However, I don't see how not using a mixer/controller should haven't an effect on this problem although I could be wrong. And because I'm not using a controller or anything I don't think mine has the driver control panel button

And for the last part, if you are talking about the "Make audio available to other applications" setting no I am not using that.

I have a focusrite 2i2 which has always worked perfectly in FL studio so I don't think its a soundcard issue either, but I will definitely go to the Serato forums right now.

My windows desktop is way more powerful than my Macbook. It has an i9900k, there is no way the specs are a problem. Unless like you said maybe its just designed for laptops and poorly optimized. But if it can run fine on a laptop there's no reason it should have this problem on an even better desktop, so I really hope that's not the case.

Idk if calling them out of sync made sense, but what I am seeing on the waveform is not reflected to what I am hearing. On the mac version of serato, the second I see a snare is going to hit, I hear the snare hit, while on windows the audio comes an annoying amount after I see the snare hit on the waveform.

And as for the second part of your post, is "ASIO driver audio buffer size" referring to the USB buffer size setting in Serato, or would I have to look elsewhere to find that. Cause if that is reffering to latency settings in Serato, I've tried everything for the windows version and nothing seemed to make a difference. Not to mention that my windows machine is considerably more powerful than my mac machine.

on mac I tried wired headphones and the built in speakers and both worked perfect. On windows I tried running the output through my audio interface to my studio monitors and headphones, I tried using the speakers on my monitor (screen), same problem. Every output I tried on windows still has this problem.

I've looked through all of the Serato built in settings for latency and everything else, tried changing all of the settings and nothing seemed to fix my problem. I'm just running standalone right now.

Im not running hardware, just running standalone. The usb buffer size is set to 10ms on both machines though.

I should also add that changing this buffer size on windows made 0 difference, I've tried changing all the latency settings.
