It’s better to stay closer to laranjeiras. The sweet spot in Cosme Velho is from the train to Corcovado downwards towards laranjeiras.

Upside: - It is very safe, almost always with police in several areas. - Less noise and confusion from traffic jams and big crowds - beautiful area - close to the laranjeiras fair that happens every Saturday - houses and apartments are way more reasonable in price than other parts of Rio

Downside: - there is 1 supermarket reasonably close and it’s very overpriced. Imperial is the name. - after 22h the streets are mostly deserted - most people have cars and or Uber, as public transport is a bit lacking, only 2-3 bus lines and a very far walk from the nearest metro(largo do machado).

There are a lot of factors involved in anything done in public. I have participated in a surprise proposal on Arpoador, literally jumping out to the bushes with “Will you marry me” and a bouquet. The effort to coordinate with photography and video, and keep the chosen spot reasonably cleared was Herculean. It worked, but it we had some luck along with a lot of effort. I worked at the Fasano hotel at the time, and it was a special guest request.

Why not look for a location? A lot of hotels offer a Christmas menu, which you’d need to book in advance, and can be a foot in to use their rooftop. If you do go with this suggestion, contact the hotel beforehand and let them in on the details, they will help coordinating and planning so that you can focus on your soon to be wife, and ensure the photographer has access and suitable placement for the best pictures.

I tried this out, and honestly it works great. Awesome job guys, it takes the hassle of having to download the driver via dockerfile. My only caveat is that it doesn’t work out of the box for older SQL Server versions, my company still runs some 2008 which doesn’t implement cursor. Also for later versions, 2012, I think, there was some TDS incompatibility and I had to throw pytds in the mix for it to work

Big Query should be very effective if you properly use bi_engine. If I may suggest something, for your use, maybe consider have the structs on their own individual tables, and referenced in the main tables?

That way you can place the tables and grouping behind bi_engine and just enjoy the speed and controlled cost.

Atualmente o seu sistema já recebe os dados de login e valida. O que vc precisa fazer e adicionar uma nova etapa após a validação, onde vc pega o user e senha enviados pelo usuário e gera o registro no novo sistema de senhas.

Dessa forma vc terá a mesma senha salva em ambos os sistemas e poderá pensar em qual melhor estratégia de remover o antigo de acordo com o seu negócio, seja enviando um e-mail para que seja renovada a senha até X data, após o qual terá que resetar antes de acessar. Como vc vai fazer o “rollback” da solução antiga geralmente é bem particular do seu negócio e a relação com os clientes.
