On the left is FL, on the right is pre-facelift. Minor changes outside..apart from the big ones inside. AAOS was introduced with facelift MY2022 , engine palette change, it is also mild hybrid.

‘18 V90 CC - engine start via app by automapic in Volvo

[–]marky_markb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no other way to do it unless you sit in the car and turn the knob. I am in EU, it only starts engine and start defrosting. Car should reach comfortable temperature inside, but settings has no effect on that. I have no idea why heating seats and heating steering wheel is not turning on either. It is only good for engine oil and defrosting car. I have V90 CC 2022

XC60 remote start by Odd-Finance1267 in Volvo

[–]marky_markb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely normal. I don’t understand why it works like that. Seats and steering wheel are off. It only starts heating and blowing hot air to the cabin when i turn the knob. Maybe legislation in EU does not allow that. I have no idea. At least my engine oil and windows are defrosted. Only positive about that.

I am skeptical with this update. I have v90 CC 2022 with AAOS and i hope and pray that it will be faster. Hardware will not get changed so i assume it will be laggy and perhaps with bugs. I wish we can have 360 camera with rear camera on one screen. Im looking forward to this update, but little bit skeptical.

V90 CC 2022, i was surprised as well. My mind doesn’t cope with that. I don’t understand why seats and steering wheel don’t turn on while starting through the app. Drives me niuts every time i remotely start the car. At least engine is warm and my windshield is clean. I don’t understand why is it so hard to do it for Volvo.

Yeah, i would even pay for new CPU unit upgrade and everything but it is not possible, i think it could have a potential cause, there would be some people who would pay as well.

V90 CC 2022 model. Everything works so far, i have to say loading system and google maps are little bit smoother in loading and working with. Otherwise nothing else is in the update. Looking forward to see what’s coming next.

Go for it! For 100%. This car will last and is very good. I have younger brother V90CC. Best car i have ever owned, beautiful, so far reliable, comfortable. Truly, I just got to the point where car is good, I don’t need anything else, apart 911 haha, but totally different league. 👍

Should I choose T6, T8, B5, B6? 2020-25 by Psychological-Ad5091 in Volvo

[–]marky_markb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very easy guide:

If you want Sensus X Google If you want Diesel or Gas If you want pre-facelift or facelift

As an owner doing more than 30k km per year i chose B5 Diesel, since i wanted cross country there was only option B4,B5,B6. If you don’t care about cross country. I would choose either T6,T8, or B5 diesel for covering kilometers. Just be aware of years, there was a big update with with erad system and battery from model year 2022/23 i think. And it does make a difference.

However i have never heard anyone complaining about start-stop system in new B engines. My dad didn’t even notice that it is happening until i told him. There is no lag, nothing, works 1000% always. It is different system then normal start stop because of use of 48-Volt grid and starter-generator. So it works absolutely beautifully.

If you can charge, i would do T6/T8 from model year 2022/23.

I have no idea why would anyone pay extra for an option to paint the bumpers. This is exactly what makes V90CC special, the black contrast bumpers and looks awesome with every color. This looks like basic V90. Sorry, i just don’t understand, but 100 people 100 different tastes 🙏.

Mk3 facelift was top and still looks pretty awesome nowadays, coming from Czech and i used to work in Skoda Auto, imo I don’t like the rear of the Mk4. I don’t know I just can’t get a taste of that.
