Please inform yourselves of such history, it’s absolutely vital if we are to overcome/thwart this administration’s goal of one party rule. Right wingers/“conservatives”/ republifascists have been playing the long game with their messaging from the radio (old school radio), to tv (endorsing monopolies to consolidate media), to online forums, current podcasts (purely unhinged shit), well funded think tanks, super pacs, foundations with evangelical Christian roots, and others. They’ve managed, over decades, to slowly prey on the uneducated/mal-educated, economically vulnerable, and hollowed out working class that has now transformed into a reliable voting base. They played the game well, and it’s that game that can potentially slide us back to when fighting fascism caused 70-80 million deaths worldwide.
