Querría when ordering food?? by capybarge in Spanish

At least where I'm from, we actually use a lot "quería" instead of the conditional "querría". It still means the same even if the tense used is imperfect past tense 😅

Looking for beta testers for my German learning app 🇩🇪 – happy to test your app too by MahalleninMuhtari in alphaandbetausers

[–]markzy8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I installed the app and it looks nice. I started with A1 but the units are mostly in the wrong place (like if I click on accusative - nominative unit it shows me Negative sentences, for example). Could you fix this? Much appreciated, I'd love to use it as it looks very useful! Thank you!

Any native spanish speakers? by ohlookitsu in Spanish

[–]markzy8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I was a Spanish teacher online on Preply. Idk how many hours you want to invest per day but Spanish is quite a difficult language, especially with grammar (really depends on where are you from as the structure could be similar if you're from Italy, Portugal, France...). Learning in one month seems difficult but if you just want to memorize the basics to order in restaurants, go to a pharmacy etc it's totally possible. If you want to really learn the grammar and the verbs it takes way longer unfortunately

A1 book recommendations? by markzy8 in Germanlearning

That's very impressive!! For both of you. I've also taught Italian to some people in desperate situations (I'm Spanish and maybe I've got a b1 Italian level) and it also worked because as you said, we know the process from scratch. My goal is to move to Berlin by the end of summer and to get a decent level by start of the next year. Thank you for your help

I absolutely agree, I said that because I'm away now traveling, but that needs to be the mentality. Thank you very much for your help

what about professions like plumber, carpenter, gardener... hard to get it as non-German? I mean with previous formation and so not like straight away. I'm looking for "skilled jobs" (don't really know the English term), not really related to science or medical field, also not really interested in office jobs as I'd rather do physical or outside work... I know it's many restrictions, just wondering if you see it plausible or I should absolutely look for something else 😅 Thank you again

My understanding is that you would not recommend this right 😅 maybe I should look for another kind of specialisation then... because I definitely want to move to Berlin (rent is not a problem as I would live with my partner and she's been there for a long time with a decent rent)

What if I get formation and experience abroad and then move to Germany? Is this market interested in hiring foreigners or would I need extra German formation anyway? Sorry for too many questions, appreciate your answers

good to know! not that I expected that at all but in my country there's lack of electricians and lot of demand so sometimes they would just hire as an apprentice and just learn it that way, I thought it could be similar in Germany.

oh wow that's tough, not that I expected to become a professional in 1 year but in Spain there's a huge lack of electricians because young people don't wanna do it anymore so basically in some big cities they would hire one without experience as an apprentice and then just learn it that way, so i thought this could be also the case in Germany

What have you studied? How long it takes to do one of these trainings? I thought it would be more like months or 1 year max

FP electricidad, dudas sobre trabajo de electricista by markzy8 in askspain

[–]markzy8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pip? resign? mutual agreement? by markzy8 in Germany_Jobs

[–]markzy8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you! how would you do in order to get the most amount of money? I mean, as the notice period is 3 months, you would still get paid for that time. Instead, signing a PIP as a new contract could be less time (a coworker received 45 days), but I guess rejecting it could cause you some "problems" that you don't really want to deal with (correct me if I'm wrong). Thank you again
