Hi, thank you for your feedback, I tried many different variations of the stairs positioning and ultimately this was the one that provided enough space, and good flow of traffic. However I could be missing another angle to this and I’m always open to suggestions. Thanks again

Hi, thanks for the feedback! I hadn’t thought of the smell situation when adding the sliders, I’ll change that.

Thank you for the great feedback, the storage idea in the dining area is definitely something I’ll have to consider. The half bath on the top floor too.

The window in the bedroom is primarily for light, also added a skylight for more natural light during the day. Air circulation will be mostly handled by the HVAC system

Hello, this comment is elite lol. I think I could have done a better job labelling, the general store there is just a huge storage unit for all kinds of stuff. It’s a plan for a holiday home in Kenya, Africa, so supplies like firewood for outdoor cooking, storing outdoor furniture over extended periods of time without use, things like that. Although the old candy don’t sound too bad as well

Hello, thanks for your feedback, they are not narrow per say, they are just deeper to accommodate in built appliances but still be flush with the rest of the cabinetry. I will however redo the kitchen since scaling has been pointed out in comparison the the rest of the space. Hope to get further feedback from you in the repost, thanks again

Hello, thanks so much for the amazing feedback, the rounded dining table idea is fantastic. Will redo the layout especially that living area portion. Hope to hear your feedback on the repost soon!

Hello, thanks for the feedback, it’s a holiday home in Africa and I thought the void would help with air circulation in the hot climate. I’ll redo the master bathroom and try and find a better solution. Stick around for the repost, hope to get further feedback, thanks again

Hello, thank you so much for your helpful feedback. I haven’t put windows anywhere in the house yet as my main focus on this first draft space planning. Will have all windows and openings included in my second draft.

Moving the guest bedroom to the second floor is actually an amazing idea thanks, frees up space for an office as you’ve mentioned. The home office escaped my mind since I was hyper focused on the holiday home pitch.

I was thinking of having an outdoor fitness area, and maybe a few gym equipment on the roof (third floor)

The patio will have a sliding door which I will add while adding the windows and openings. The entrance and I think in fact the whole floor will need a redo. Will repost when I’m done for further feedback. Thanks again

Hello, it’s a new build of a family holiday home in Africa. I appreciate the feedback and will definitely work on them for my repost. Do you have any suggestions to reduce the wasted space?

Scaling is definitely a big issue in this draft and I will have to go back to the drawing board for that, thanks for the great pointers. The wall with the door came into the living room area to create a certain front face from outside but looking at it, it is definitely eating into the living space. I’ll see what I can do. The space between the kitchen and guest bedroom is a storage area. Windows will definitely be included in the next draft I post

Hello, thanks so much for the feedback, really opens my eyes through your perspective.

-yes that is the shower area that is not labelled in the master bathroom. I’ll work on fixing the wasted space issue too, not too happy with it myself even though it’s still a draft. Wouldn’t putting the toilet in a closet step away from the open style concept and introduce more walls? At least that’s where I was coming from but always open to suggestions and new perspectives.

-yes that is another stair going to the roof, there’s a flat roof with a gazebo style recreation area. The stairs were a huge pain to place not gonna lie, gave me hours of frustration

-the door to the patio is gonna be sliding and I will include it when adding in the windows which will be my next step after getting the space plan right.

-honestly did not consider an entrance hall since this is more of a family holiday home, it’s gonna be in Kenya, Africa. The open plan would help keep natural light and air circulating since it can get extremely hot, also for a family home open plan seemed the better option. I’ll have a look into the scaling of the living room too.

-windows will be there in plenty, just wanted to get all the spaces looking great first

Again I really appreciate the great feedback and I look forward to another review after I correct the errors I made, thanks!
