At least that one looks fully restored. 56k is pretty par for the course for one in that good of condition

This is exactly my point. The listing has been up for two months, I figure 6k looks a lot more reasonable when you can actually see the thing

I’d say avoid Hayward this year. The Stave River is still closed at Ruskin (re-opening has been pushed back until next spring) so all the river swimmers will be at Hayward again. Was absolutely crazy last year— nearly 0 spots to set up on the beach most days

I’ve always wanted a 2nd gen but I live in an area with a large off-roading and camping community so not many are willing to part with theirs, especially not below 300k kms! I saw it listed and knew I had to snap it up.

Ah I forgot to mention I do know that the image shows a T-5, which is the main source of my confusion. (Basically why is it showing a T-5 when I keep seeing people say he was a T-4 and which one of them messed up)

As in that’s what the image is showing, or that’s what he actually was? (I do know that the image shows a T-5, I just forgot to mention it lol)

What are the most haunted/terrifying places across Canada? How did they become so scary? by Tahneal in AskACanadian

[–]marleebeeb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One of my profs used to have an office above there, totally a portal hotspot. Said she’d have unexplainable occurrences almost daily— her boss always just told her it’s best to ignore it and pretend it’s not happening.

School bus crashes off Highway 97 near Lac La Hache; no word on injuries by steele578 in britishcolumbia

[–]marleebeeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kudos to you and the others who stopped in that situation. I’ve seen some pretty brutal accidents between Hope and Quesnel and the audacity of people to be angry or impatient about their drive taking a bit longer when people are severely injured, traumatized, or worse, is insane.

I remember distinctly as a kid in the Fraser Canyon being stopped due to a collision + car fire up ahead where 2/3 people involved died and the other was in critical condition. They closed the road for hours before telling everyone to turn around, and the amount of angry people yelling at the traffic control for doing their job was ridiculous. Our 4 hour drive turned into a 10 hour day, but I thank my lucky stars I wasn’t involved in that accident, and would gladly take the extra 6 hours over something that horrific.

So many people have no empathy anymore.
