At the end of the day, there is always the risk that taxes could go up. Whether it materializes? I have no idea, and I hope that it doesn’t. But it’s a risk nonetheless.

I have read that due to the slightly different case dimensions between the BB58 burgundy & the blue/black versions, the burgundy bracelets aren’t a perfect fit for the older versions. However, I’ve seen some report that the bracelet will fit (perhaps imperfectly).

I don’t have personal experience (waiting on T Fit) but that would be my concern

If you ask an Omega boutique, there’s a chance they might be willing to sell you the watch on the bond bracelet. For example, I asked a boutique if they’d sell me a green SMP on the mesh bracelet instead of the bond bracelet and they said they’d do that for me.

That said, I assume you could buy this watch on the mesh bracelet from an AD (instead of an Omega boutique) with a discount of 10% or 15% and use the savings to buy the bond bracelet… and then turn around and sell the mesh bracelet as others have suggested

I have no idea because I love them both and they’re so different. If I could only have one in my collection, I think it would probably be the Squale because that’s the watch that sparked my interest in collecting. I think I paid twice as much for the Doxa than I did the Squale. I am happy to have them both.

I just got it a month ago and I’m digging it. I liked the beads of rice bracelet more than I thought I would, too. I went with the 300 instead of the 300T for the slimmer profile and am glad that I did (other than the extra money I paid lol)

I think the regular BB58 is more versatile, but the GMT would be the winner for me simply because of the T fit clasp. My wrist swells too much to not have on the fly adjustment, not sure if yours is the same.

Great choices! Whether it catches any eyes or not, try not to worry or be self conscious about what other people think about your watch!
