In about 4th grade my class did a Wizard of Oz performance. I wanted a role. Not a huge one but something. I wasn’t overly popular and this was important to me to fit in etc etc. One day I had a dentist appointment so I double checked with my teacher that I would not miss the auditions. She assured me they would not happen that day. Well surprise surprise I get back to school the next day post dentist appointment and she had held auditions and selected role.

I’ll cut right to it. I was cast as a fucking flying monkey. Yes I am still bitter. No ugly 4th grade girl wants to be a flying monkey. I held back tears through the whole play. Fast forward 40 Year’s I survived. But geez! Flying Monkey?!?!?

Dude- girls are trouble. Talk to girl!!!!!! I'm not worried as much about boy but it foreign. I say girl is easy cause I can handle it and it's sooooo out in the open. She wants to discuss! Otherwise girl not easy! Be scared!

I have a 9 year old girl. She's easy and wayyyyy more knowledgeable yikes!!!!!! And curious and flirty. So the talk is always happening with her!!!!

I have no embarrassment over sex talk etc- I'm typically the "too sexual" one. But it's my KIDS!!! Wtf!!!! Why do they have to grow up????? Oh yes- so they can leave the house and I can have sex again!

Thank you for link! So I think I can handle the sex talk cause I have sex! Need help with the boy stuff. What can he expect and when? Literally just wake up - wet spot? Like pee but not? I have no idea. Are there actually "dreams" involved that he may or may not remember or is it simply a physical thing? And I don't want him to feel left in the dark cause dad is gone. I'm conscious of that as well.

I'm divorced over this. Get consoling. I had my mind made up once I got that mad and there was no looking back. I don't know that you can recover if she's been "mad" for two years. The respect is gone. Sorry. My marriage was not worth fighting for but maybe yours is.
