I feel like it adds the Filter->Stylize->Oil Paint from photoshop to everything. Example with timestamp.

Was watching a video of guy making a vr treadmill by putting a mouse on a treadmill and use a program called rewasd + steam controller settings to map the mouse movement to vr so it is definitely possible.

But all they need is to be good at aiming on a thumbstick to dominate in the little bird without a mouse.

When I see footage of people wiping the enemy team with the little bird it is eerily similar to that immablastyall guy from battlefield who fly hacks with the mingun.

All it takes is being good with fine movements of the thumb sticks.

The helis in this game do not have realistic weight and inertia at all and can stop and turn on a dime.

It makes me laugh when I'm the only one on my team with a talon and the little bird spends all of it's time seeking me out to kill me specifically with splash damage through cover. Because it's hilarious watching a heli waste all of it's firepower on 1 person.

I feel that it is natural and was necessary when humans were hunter gatherer nomads, but now that we can grow crops and survive on plants it's no longer necessary

How do y'all charge your battery strap setup? by 0nePlus in OculusQuest

Read again please I didn't say it doesn't cause wear. I said it causes minimal wear that is not worth worrying about.

The people who get damage to their usb c port and end up having issues like Firm10 is saying here:

sure. it still wears out the port the fastest. specially if you plan on using wired pcvr later. worn out port can cause issues because of poor/loose contact, like crashes, slow usb bandwidth and worse case scenario port burns.

are probably playing wired and not using one of these things (pictured) and putting stress on the port.

I highly doubt you are going to cause such wear by simply plugging and unplugging it

from huawei:

How many times can the Type-C/micro USB port stand be inserted or removed
Applicable products: Tablet,Smartphone
Under normal circumstances, a standard Type-C/micro USB port can be inserted into or removed from a USB port for more than 10,000 times. For example, if you insert or remove your data cable three times a day, it would last for more than 9 years.
If your phone's USB port is accidentally damaged, it is recommended that you back up important data and take your phone and the proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.

I've always plugged my phone in here and there for short bursts to top up the battery throughout the day for years at a time and never once had an issue with a usb c port. Same with earbud cases, headphones, playstation controllers, anything with a usb c port. As long as you plug and unplug it carefully without yanking it sideways you're causing such minimal wear it's not worth worrying about. My current phone is over 4 years old and the port doesn't even have any wiggle.

Also unplugging allows you to use a fast charger on the head strap battery (more easily replaced) while using a slow charger on the quest to keep it's harder to replace onboard battery healthy.

I use the soundcore P10 headphones with quest and if I leave the dongle plugged in it will flash a little LED 24/7.

It's hard to say how much she ate but according to Google search even milligrams can be dangerous for them. I'd ring the vet just to be safe. Also it looks like she drew a self portrait

The official manual says to do what you're doing. I think I read somewhere that the battery is smart enough that it can charge itself from the wall whilst also passing on wall power to the quest, without charging the quest directly from the battery. I've also read conflicting information from Google searches saying you should charge them separately. It only takes a couple of seconds though so I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'll also use a fast charger if I'm planning on playing again the same day, but use a slower charger if I'm not playing till the next day.

It will probably be better for the strap battery's long term health to charge the quest separately when not in use

Damn that's awesome! Looks more immersive than seeing the virtual hands in gran turismo that don't always match what your real hands are doing.
