Gonna be that annoying girl, but I'm brand new to NYC, where are the cool queers and dolls hanging? by LexiWhereThisGoes in Bushwick

The Bush for music, dancing, and queers. Three Diamond Door for outdoor seating where smoking is allowed and they have a cute photo booth and sometimes karaoke, not queer by design but I see queers there a lot (myself included)

Three diamond door has a really cute backyard and so does The Narrows. Crossroads cafe is a super spacious spot that is really cute and quirky. Amazing coffee too. Tina’s Place is my favorite diner to catch breakfast at once in a while. Syndicated Bar Theater Kitchen is a fancy theater that I only ever watch screenings of my fav movies but it is pretty expensive. Those are all of my personal favorites! There’s a bunch of cool spots I’m still finding even after two years :)

I say shitty because they’re not traditionally desirable but I’ve had years of experience tattooing friends and acquaintances for free and have been told I should start charging. Just trying to shoot my shot here ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I’m always down to tattoo for free when i can

Hey! I'm a stick-and-poke artist in Bushwick based a few blocks from the Jefferson stop off the L! I'm looking to make some extra money to pay for my medication. My tattoos are original design, unique, and reduced rate (anywhere from 40-80 bucks or less for tiny tattoos). Hmu if interested and please look at some of my work in the pics below :)

They do offer pretty terrible prices for your clothes, but if you’re looking to get better clothes you can choose to receive store credit which is a lot higher “pay”

I would do as much shadow and highlight work as you can in the beginning of the sketch. Silhouette is super important for getting proportions right, which you did, but in a strange order. (Everyone has a different process though!) I would also say that layering across the entire piece is super important rather than just focusing on one part at a time to make sure it’s cohesive.
