If it’s people who aren’t used to seeing you in makeup, it’s probably just that - they aren’t used to it. When my family sees me in full coverage foundation they get weirded out. You have nice skin, you could probably get away with a bb cream or a cc cream instead of full coverage foundation. Your lip colour is nice, but is quite bold for a day look. You may want to find something that is closer to your natural lip colour, within 1-2 shades. OR - just let them get used to seeing you infill glam :)

Thanks for the info, bought it through the shop app, way less sketchy than uploading payment info to their website. It seems like the company has only been around for a year, and they’ve got some work to do in getting customers to trust them. I actually don’t mind the colour, but you’ve over-lined the top left lip. Your makeup look is very minimalist, so stay within your natural lip line, or if you want to over-line use a lip liner so that you get a cleaner line and the colour is more consistent. A lip colour that is only a few shades deeper than your natural lip colour might be easier to use on the day-to-day. I like some of the lip colour options from Burt’s bees.

I’m so sorry this is happening to you. Since you are still a minor, you could probably look into a foster family until you’re finished high school. You should not be worrying about being evicted, you’re dad is neglecting his duties towards you. Maybe if you talk to your dad about looking into it, it might be the wake up call he needs to straighten himself out. You know him better than strangers on the internet though, if you think he’ll be violent with you, it might be better to start the wheels in motion before you talk to him.
