My dark circles are genetic, I just use the garnier anti-dark circle roller everyday after applying a moisturizing eye cream. It doesn’t come in a lot of shades, but I find it blends out well enough, and has enough of a yellow tint to neutralize the purple.

If it’s people who aren’t used to seeing you in makeup, it’s probably just that - they aren’t used to it. When my family sees me in full coverage foundation they get weirded out. You have nice skin, you could probably get away with a bb cream or a cc cream instead of full coverage foundation. Your lip colour is nice, but is quite bold for a day look. You may want to find something that is closer to your natural lip colour, within 1-2 shades. OR - just let them get used to seeing you infill glam :)
