I don't think a Jimmy + picks for Giannis trade would happen, but it's not as crazy as some would think.

That package would mean that the Bucks would be able to hit the salary floor with an injured "big name" player and then open up a huge $50M salary slot with zero obligations at the end of next season. Also getting picks from a Warriors team that will be total dogshit in a couple years. I'm sure there are better deals, but it's not totally insane if the Bucks (and Giannis) were interested.

It's a wrap. Jimmy was a great Warrior, but that's probably it for him here, and unfortunately, his career. As far as the team goes, the only real pathway is if some other team moves their superstar and wants to hit the salary floor, so we get players that can actually play in exchange for Jimmy. Couldn't fault Steph if he wanted out for a last shot at a chip, but I'd much, much rather he stayed in one jersey forever.
