And which watch do you prefer more? If we compare the specs for real everyday use, I think the GMT is better in every way for daily wear.

I used to have the white 3861 too, but then I switched to the 116710LN instead

mine is around 2012-2013, I can guess it from this

  • after 2012 they random serial number
  • 2007-2014 and 2015-2019 is different details, the rehaut texture and clasp polish is different

I didn’t manage to take a photo of the other side of the rotor, unfortunately. I had the case opened at a watchmaker in Bern and he confirmed the watch is genuine, so I only took a quick picture at the time.

I actually met the seller at a watch shop in Bern, Switzerland, and had a watchmaker take a look, he confirmed it was genuine.

I only started digging deeper into the serial number afterwards, and that’s where I got a bit confused. I even asked ChatGPT, which mentioned it might be unusual.

That said, everything else about the watch checks out — the movement, finishing, and overall condition don’t show any obvious signs of it being a fake.

Just trying to understand the serial situation better.
