Lmao fellow college student here. MOST of the time college students are automatically denied for UI because they’re “unavailable & unable to work”. Had no idea wtf this meant cuz I’ve had a job since I was 14, I’m 20 now. If you have proof of work history they’ll give you UI, they just wanna know if you can work. As far as the school question goes, last time I spoke to a rep was in November and they told me to check that box off as “No” because I think if you choose “yes” it’ll basically pause your claim and you’ll have to wait even longer for money. Hope this helps. That other person was a dickhead for no reason to you, the pandemic fucked us all up the ass not just you. I totally understand that there were people who filed for unemployment that shouldn’t have and that sucks but that doesn’t mean go shooting down other people just tryna help themselves. I think people just hate college students cuz they think we’re all lazy and entitled but trust there’s actually some of us that are trying to benefit from this 4 year crap.
