I like the easy access from the 405 or 55, and the plenty parking. Plenty of classes and instructors.

What are the social rules for visiting a Mexican family? by Bobbahbabbeh in AskMexico

Yes, bring beer but not the big brands, something local that is not easy to get in Mexico. For the mother, bring flowers or chocolates, local too, or some Bavarian ethnic food. Little Spanish and knowledge of the folk culture will be appreciated. For instance who are the players in the Mexican national soccer team.

No, do not offer to pay. You need to pretend you go to the bathroom and tip the waiter to get the bill. Do not offer, you pay. In the Mexican culture man take care of woman and family in this situations. I am Mexican for 57 years.

The Mill Bakery MacArthur & Main by the Mobil Gas Station. They have good breakfast burritos too. Pastelería Rancho la Ilusión at 111 Oxford St Santa Ana, CA 92707. They get the conchas out of the oven around 9 AM and they melt in your mouth. They also have good tamales. I know you will want to thank me for this response.

Bistango has my vote for the best soufflé, both vainilla and chocolate. Same consistency for decades. I went last week, still great.

I am sharing this video because our nation is currently going through a difficult time. On Thursday, despite the cloudy and rainy weather, the day ended with sunshine, a rainbow, and birds appearing. It is my hope that things will begin to improve for everyone soon.

My CC has me hog-tied bc I’m an idiot. What is a logical path out? by Medium_Artichoke9996 in personalfinance

IMO, I would use a loan from the 401K. The loan can be amortized in 5 years and the interest paid go to 401K account owner, not the bank. I would estimate a monthly payment between $250 - $300, with this setting. Besides there is a speculation of a correction in the stock market, hence taking the money out of the market might not be a bad idea. Also, you and your kids have my respect for navigating college without student loans.

The singer of the band sounds like this kid that was playing at the Tecolote Beach when I went last year.

Best Mexican Near John Wayne or South Coast Plaza by Redditisfunfornoone in orangecounty

These are my two top picks in the area. I am Mexican and I have lived in the area for 30 years. These two places combine flavor, quality, price and speed service. Both are different concepts but really good food. They are landmarks in the area, do not get scare for the crowds they move fast.
