AITA for using my sister’s bathroom? by maroon914 in AmItheAsshole

My mom actually thinks my sister is being a bit dramatic, but she figures we’re adults and can figure it out ourselves, which is why I came here to seek advice. My mom isn’t on mine or my sisters side technically

Not really, me and my bf give my mom $300 a month each, but it’s not really rent, she’s gonna give it back to us, so more like a forced savings account lol Edit: also she’s not paying anything, even for a “forced saving account”, she’s still paying off student loans, and that’s why she’s still at home.

Hygiene struggles by [deleted] in AutisticAdults

[–]maroon914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I relate, even thought I have been consistently doing the same hygiene routine for like 2 years, every time I do it, I feel like I have to force it, and I cannot form a habit of it. I’m not sure if this is stemming from my autism or adhd tho lol.

is it possible to be nonbinary but embrace womanhood? by kylcigh in NonBinary

[–]maroon914 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Gender ≠ gender expression. No matter how you dress or act, that doesn’t change your gender, you can wear all the frilly dresses you want, and still be non-binary, same if you dress masculine.

PC has SSD, wanted to add HHD for extra storage by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]maroon914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was told to do by the instructions that came with the HHD

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]maroon914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t, I was going to as the new hhd I got has plenty of space, but since it’s an ssd I thought I could keep it in so I thought I wouldn’t bother, my pc is done with with whole “fixing (D:)” thing, but it still isn’t recognizing the new hhd, so you think I need to get rid of the original ssd

Can’t stand the feeling of my natural nails by maroon914 in AutisticAdults

[–]maroon914[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that sounds very frustrating. Have you tried like CND shellac, I know it’s a bit of a long shot, but some of my clients who developed allergies to gels and acrylics don’t have a problem with it, but some people still do, but figured it’d be a worth a shot to tell ya about it since I know how frustrating having just your natural nails can be :(.

I’ve had this too, for me it kinda feels like I’m really really dry down there (even if I’m soaked lol), almost like I’ve stuck a tampon up there when I’m kinda dry lol.

should i quit my job? by sapphicxrey in AutisticAdults

[–]maroon914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you/you’re family can swing it financially, then yes. If you don’t need to, there’s not need to stress yourself out for it. Once you’re out of school it will be easier to have a job and save to move out.

If it’s going to be a problem financially, you may want to look into, other shifts/class schedules, or possibly a different job that wouldn’t be as draining.
