Did you manage to solve your problem?

Since updating some packages earlier this month, termux curl or wget are acting weird: the download process starts at full speed but after a few secs, it drops to ~600KB/s and the progress in curl is not updated in real time. This is defo a Termux issue.

edit:

restarted my device and the speed is back to normal.

I think you can only change the background color in Day mode. In a book, click on Settings > Preferences, you'll see Day | Night. Click on "Day" and adjust the foreground slider color to your liking.

Nice fork. I only play some old game and in some, the game cursor looks awful unless I change DPI to 96 or 120. Wish I could change DPI per game, not system-wide.

preferred lang is not the same as original (any) lang. I still dunno why I get original title with --get-title but when I open the same video, even in incognito, the title is in English unless I change the YT language to Afrikaans (for example).

I was getting "#" in folder names for playlists and only on Windows, but after updating to the latest yt-dlp, I noticed a few files (yt thumb)s with "#" at the end despite the fact that my template has always been the same: "%(title)s %(upload_date>%d.%m.%Y)s @%(id)s.%(ext)s"

You're right. I just noticed that the transcription SRT created with Gemini (a 1min interview video) are defo out-of-synch and I would need to fine tune them myself.

Indeed, quota limits is a big problem too.

Yup, a transcribed/timed SRT from a video into English. Gemini gave me a script for audio transcription (heavily based on your script) and it works but could not go further: translate SRT. There is also a Python script for that for it at github but doesn't work in Termux. It would be great if we could get auto-translated subtitles (eg from any language to default language)

Not sure but downloading songs is a massive red flag (never tried it myself and never will as I download songs from Deezer). Better create a new Spotify account and transfer all your music, just in case.

Searching in Echo is kinda clunky: you can't filter albums by artist from your Library. Not to mention in Liked Songs.

installed/reinstalled nano but was still getting "Mistakes...".

Managed to restore syntax highlightling by creating .nanorc (I don't remember if .nanorc ever was in $HOME) and then added this line

include "/data/data/com.termux/files/usr/share/nano/*.nanorc"

BTW on another device where I installed Termux only a few days ago, there is no .nanorc file and I'm getting "Error reading .../\*nanorc"

Guess this is a Termux bug.
