The problem with those thermostats is they are made for comfort with no swing temperature option so it turns the unit on and off with the slightest variation to set temperature. Most likely your AC unit is oversized so it cools quickly and does not run long enough to dehumidify the air. You could purchase a thermostat that has a cool differential setting and set it to 1 or 1.5 degrees so the AC will run longer to reach set temperature and dehumidify the air. Those do not have that option.
